The OpenCV operations I use most: colour conversion, resizing, Gaussian blur, Canny edges, thresholding and contours.
- OpenCV loads colour images as BGR, so convert before mixing with Matplotlib or PyTorch.
- Blur first, then detect edges: noise otherwise turns into fake edges.
